The more I hear about the “crisis”, the less I am convinced it is a crisis that requires spending any of my money (or inflating the currency to make my money worth less).

Banks lent money to people who couldn’t afford the loans.  Why is that my problem?

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac bought the bad loans from that they encouraged the banks to make and then became insolvent.  Why is that my problem?

Today Senator Obama blamed greedy Wall Street speculators for the crisis while his advisors made $Millions off of creating the mess.

We need a law that requires repayment of campaign contributions to a company or institution whenever goes bankrupt,  gets a government buyout, or even gets a government loan guarantee.

Companies and institutions that need taxpayer help should not be giving campaign contributions.

Barack Obama’s “Two faces” Spanish ad accuses John McCain of being a bigot and uses a distorted Rush Limbaugh quote saying “shut up and go home” as proof.  The Rush Limbaugh “shut up and go home”quote was stating the Mexican government’s position on immigrants.

Anyone who would use lies and distortion before getting elected can’t be trusted.

When are the hearings for Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae scheduled?

Why are they out of money?  Is it because they gave money away to political candidates?

Is it right that companies like Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae whose profits are guaranteed by the Federal Government are allowed to give campaign donations to candidates for Federal offices?

Will anyone ask the candidates to return the donations to help with the bail out?

Congressman Murtha declared a group of marines in Haditha guilty and then did not hold a press conference to apologize when they were exonerated.

A Retired Army Reserve Lt Colonel is running against him.  Support Lt Colonel Russel in his campaign to retire Congressman Murtha.

Did the Obama Campaign plan to dispose of the flags from the convention in a dumpster or did someone just screw up?

Either way, it is a cause for concern. Why would Obama supporters throw away flags?  Don’t they believe in reusing good things?  Isn’t reusing things good for the environment?  Is patriotism only for prime time TV coverage?
